| Thank you for taking the time to read my story, hi I'm Uefa I go by Lahni a lot. I'm a mom of 3 beautiful children, I'm here to tell my story about my life and how it happen, thanks again for your time. On July 12, 2022 I was diagnosed with heart failure and liver disease. I been sick of and on missing days of work due to my health situation, I try to see the doctor and doctors appointment for my health. Month later my I went to see my doctor about my MRI results and scan, I have 2 living valve from my heart. Also my liver is struggling after gallbladder removal, I was shocked that, I'm diagnosed with this ever. I was working at a fruit produce warehouse as a night shift supervisor at the time. I love my job but due to my health and mental health not the same so much going on at the time. My Boss told me I have to resigned, because I'm shaking all the time and can't operate any machine not safe at all. So I don't have no choice but to resigned, but at the same time I have to figure out how I'm going to pay rent and feed my kids and bills. So I try to apply for unemployment I got denied because of my health. They told me to apply for social security instead, so I apply for social security. Still I need a job so I can pay bills and rent and feed my kid's, so I came across roadie similar to door dash. I apply with them so I can do like part time or something to get some money. In August they approved my application, to deliver medications, and also pick up and drop off for Walmart, home depot and CVS. The job was ok even though I have heath issues but I can walk just fine. In December, 30, 2022 in Washington state, around 9pm or so I just finish a drop off to the last customer before I go home. I was turning around to go back on the main road, a small Toyota came out of nowhere and crash into my car. The security from the shopping center came running to me, trying to help me out the car my head was spinning. All I remember that night was the security and police, ems and fire department were there. The other driver was at fault and he wasn't looking, the other driver was trying to talk to me, saying hey can we make a deal. The security told him to back up, because I was hurt and he was trying to talk to me same time. The other driver didn't get hurt, the police told me they didn't have insurance, so my insurance USAA wasn't happy about it. After hospital stays, ran some test and xray, my armed was swollen and lower back was swollen and minor spine issue. I got discharge a day after, with minor issue and follow up with my doctor, some therapy and chiropractor. I had insurance but doesn't cover all my medical bills, also paying therapy and chiropractor out a pocket. I'm not happy about the other driver was at fault and no car insurance. I sue the driver, I'm still fighting this case rightnow, they have all the evidence and police reports and medical documents. But at the same time this happen, I can't deliver or do anything so I can pay for rent and take care of my 3 kid's. I lost everything, my apartment and car, me and my kid's been struggling even hard since then. We're staying at my friend how, thank God me and my kid's are not on the street anymore. But I'm still fighting this case because now my heath and can't move as much from the car accident. I trying to sell whatever we had to make sure my kid's have clothes for school and food for lunch. I been trying so hard and pray for help, still fighting the case still pending. I'm in need of help to get a place for me and my kid's and hope I get better to go back to work again. I know no one want to go through what I'm going through, all we can do is pray and have hope and faith that we're going to be OK soon.
