Finding my Purpose: Camino de Santiago

Hello, my name is Jim, and I'm reaching out to share my journey and ask for your support. In mid-April I am intending to walk the Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage from Lisbon to Santiago de Compostela. This wish is inspired by a new search for meaning in my life.
For as long as I can remember I was struggling with health problems that made life difficult at times. The regular medical system could not identify the problem. This lead me to become interested in the spiritual way of living, to search for answers inside of me. Recently, after dedicating my life to God, following my intuition, and long periods of fasting, my health has seen significant improvements.
Additionally, the process increased my spiritual awareness to a degree that I feel like the old me has died in a way. I now feel the shackles of my old life fall away, and old negative states of being are being replaced by a feeling of self-love. This allows me to be more loving and vulnerable towards the outside world.
Now, the world as I know it now no longer seems to exist, and things that used to motivate me now seem less important. This leaves me with a longing to search for the purpose of this higher and healthier version of myself. Therefore I now feel drawn to engage in the world, away from all technology, so that I am open to all channels of communication with God.
However, due to my health condition, I am currently without employment and facing financial challenges. Your generous donations will not only ease the burden of practical expenses such as travel, accommodation, and sustenance but will also serve as a beacon of encouragement and affirmation. Your belief in me and my journey will infuse each step with purpose and remind me of the interconnectedness of our human family.
Every contribution, no matter how small, I will received with immense gratitude. And I will make it my purpose for this trip to spread forward the love, gratitude, and positive energy along the way.
