My family NEEDS your help...PLEASE!

Always being raised that "a man provides the needs for his family" I'm ashamed to have to say that currently I cannot do this.
We are driving a vehicle that should not be in or on the road let alone have my family IN it. We were forced into bankruptcy due to a layoff. I cannot find a second or third job without a car. I am currently working part-time minimum wage. I have to drive to work. We cannot get a loan to buy a used car.
PLEASE HELP US!
My wife is looking for work as well and requires the vehicle too.
My biggest fear is when the vehicle does go, or is taken off the road, how will I get to work? How will my wife find work? The snowball grows and grows! We are very close to total collapse for want of a working vehicle!
I'm so tired of not sleeping, not eating...etc.
I came across this site...and I have to try...I guess I can't see it making it any worse.
I'm hoping someone out there will assist in any ammount.
I know there are many out here in greater need than we...but I have to try.
