I’m a second year collage student majoring in Graphic Arts / Design witch includes computer science. Photo editing, video editing, audio editing, I have just found out that I am required to have my own Apple laptop computer to run a software program called Apple Final Cut Studio for our lab class. The software is provided to us as part of the tuition. I have an older Dell Windows laptop. Our computer science professor told me it was not possible to run this type of software on my Dell. And recommended a 15” Apple laptop to meet the requirements of the software program. The entry level 15” Apple is $1699 + $349 for warranty + $144 tax totaling $2192.00 my tuition was paid for by scholarship, student loans and help from my mom. My mom is a single parent that has spent her life savings to help put me through collage and at this point is unable to help and I never knew my father. With out this Apple computer I will not be able to complete my computer courses. And will lose my financial aid. Any amount will help. If you have the means and can find it in your heart to help me it will be greatly appreciated beyond words that I will never forget!
